Biography

Songlarb “Deejai” Riangkrul is a Thai-Canadian entrepreneur and the founder of VOLANTT, a creative studio specializing in luxury hospitality, real estate and architectural storytelling. He began VOLANTT in Vancouver in 2018, launched VOLANTT Thailand in 2025, and leads the work between Vancouver and Bangkok.

With an international background spanning Thailand and Canada, Deejai brings a multidisciplinary perspective that combines business strategy, visual storytelling and a deep appreciation for design and craftsmanship.

He studied commerce at the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business and gained early professional experience with institutions including Nomura, PwC, the Bank of Thailand and Kiatnakin Phatra Wealth Management. This foundation in business and finance continues to inform his approach to building brands, combining commercial understanding with creative vision.

Through VOLANTT, Deejai has led creative projects across Thailand's luxury hospitality and property sectors, with a portfolio featuring names such as BLUE by Alain Ducasse, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Bangkok, and Raya Heritage. His work focuses on translating the distinctive identities of places, people and brands into compelling visual narratives that resonate with international audiences.

Driven by the belief that exceptional luxury storytelling goes beyond aesthetics to create meaningful emotional connections, Deejai founded VOLANTT with a broader ambition: to elevate the standard of creative storytelling in Thailand and showcase the country's distinctive culture, craftsmanship and creativity on the global stage.

In 2018 he was elected Youth Delegate of Thailand at the APEC CEO Summit and Voices of the Future Program in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Delegates from the 21 APEC economies presented economic issues from their economies and drafted a Youth Declaration to APEC's leaders.
